Fallen Empire

This environment was from the Unreal Engine Fellowship World Building project. From the beginning the conception of this environment came from different creative parameters that took me to explore and research about Romanesque architecture and the renaissance art style. So, the challenge here was to create an exterior decayed Romanesque architecture in an early modern era. Therefore, my project called Fallen Empire represents the a Roman place that has been taken by an outsider civilization.

I challenged myself to get everything done inside Unreal applying all the great things I learned in the program, so all blackout, set dressing, modeling, lookdev, lighting and post process was done in Unreal Engine 5.0.1. Used Gaea to generate height map to be able to use it with the landscape tool and create displacement with run time virtual texture.
